These holes, out near the edge, are for the rope deflector. The worked well for using temporary bolts, even though I may use a different rope deflector and may not use these holes. Don’t hesitate to drill a few holes near the edges for bolts. You can simply fill them later. The important thing is to draw the beams tight to each other and tight to the hull.
